NASHVILLE, Tenn. (January 7, 2016) – Nashville-based S & S Property Management, Inc. (S & S), has acquired Hunter's Chase Apartments in Madison, Ala. for $4.45 million.

Located about 10 miles west of Huntsville, Hunter's Chase features a total of 91 three-bedroom units including garden-style apartments and townhomes. The property was 98 percent occupied at the time of closing.

S & S purchased the property from CDT SP Hunters, LLC and CDT SP Alabama, LLC, and financing for the acquisition has been provided by the Bank of Nashville. CBRE Affordable Housing represented the seller in the transaction.

“The Huntsville area has been consistently recognized as one of the fastest growing Metro areas in the state,” said Mark Sanders, President of S & S Property Management. “We're very excited for this growth opportunity in northern Alabama.”

Built in 1990, Hunter's Chase amenities include an onsite leasing office, laundry room, and playground. In the coming months S & S plans to complete over $500,000 in capital improvements to the building exteriors, community amenities, and interiors.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 1, 2016) – S & S Property Management, Inc. (S & S), is pleased to announce the acquisition of Westminster Apartments in Rome, Georgia for $2.95 million.

The 104-unit property located at 600 Redmond Road Northwest marks the 10th acquisition in Georgia by S & S in the last four years.

S & S purchased the property from 37 WM Apartments, LLC, and financing for the acquisition was provided by Renasant Bank. ARA Newmark Atlanta represented the seller in the transaction.

Built in 1971, Westminster is composed of two and three bedroom two-story townhouses, and amenities including an onsite leasing office, swimming pool, and playground. S & S plans to complete an estimated $1 million in capital improvements to the property's interiors, exteriors, and community amenities.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (October 19, 2016) – Nashville-based S & S Property Management, Inc. (S & S), has acquired Altitude Apartments in Murfreesboro, Tenn. for $6.82 million.

The property located at 1306 Bradyville Pike features a total of 124 one and two bedroom units.

S & S purchased the property from ECG Stones Creek, LLC, and financing for the acquisition has been provided by Pinnacle Financial Partners. The Kirkland Company represented the seller in the transaction.

Built in 1973, Altitude's amenities include an onsite leasing office, laundry room, and tennis court. In the coming months S & S plans to complete $720,000 in capital improvements to the building exteriors, community amenities, and renovations to the interiors.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (October 21, 2016) – Nashville-based S & S Property Management, Inc. (S & S), has acquired Avondale Reserve in Avondale Estates, Ga. for $6 million. With this addition, S & S now has two properties in the Avondale Estates area, and 11 in the state of Georgia.

Avondale Reserve features a total of 156 one, two and three bedroom floor plans and amenities including an onsite leasing office and playground. The property was 90 percent occupied at the time of closing.

S & S purchased the property from Avondale Reserve II, LLC, and Berkadia Real Estates Advisors, LLC represented the seller in the transaction. Financing for the acquisition has been provided by Renasant Bank.

In the coming months S & S plans to complete just under $2 million in capital improvements to the building exteriors, community amenities, and interiors.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (December 28, 2016) – Nashville-based S & S Property Management, Inc. (S & S), has acquired Lake Crossing Apartments in Austell, Ga. for $22.2 million.

Lake Crossing features a total of 300 units including one, two and three bedroom floor plans. The property was 93 percent occupied at the time of closing.

S & S purchased the property from Lake Crossing Atlanta Apartments LLLP, and financing for the acquisition has been provided by the Pinnacle Financial Partners. Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller in the transaction.

Built in 1987, Lake Crossing's amenities include a fitness center, swimming pool, and tennis courts. In the coming months S & S plans to complete $2.2 million in capital improvements to building exteriors, community amenities, and interiors.
