S&S Property Management, a multi-family property management company, is in search for a high energy, hands on Assistant Property Manager, to join our team at the Hills at Oakwood. If you are able to work with little or no supervision and interested in an environment that offers new opportunities/experiences every day please read further. This position requires a minimum of 1 year multi-family property management experience. This position will require working one Saturday a month. Position Summary The Assistant Manager is a trusted member of the team that helps the Property Manager effectively manage the apartment community. You must have solid strengths in both leasing and management that enhance the experience at the community. Job Responsibilities The Assistant Manager maintains accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports of rents and deposits. The Assistant Manager conducts all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other laws pertaining to apartment communities. Inspects vacant apartments and handles details of move-ins and move-outs. Helps ensure that residents are provided with a clean, safe and well-maintained community; assists with handling resident relations and resident organizations, reports accidents and emergency situations immediately to the Property Manager and prepares incident reports, continually inspects property and reports deficiencies.
